Which Glass Roofs are Suitable for a Cleaning Robot?
The robots can be used on glass roofs or atria inclined up to 25°. However, these are only worthwhile from a certain size and are primarily found in commercial or public areas such as train stations, shopping centers or other glass entrance halls.
Does the Robot Need Cleaning Agents?
The high mechanical brush rotation of the robot ensures a brilliant cleaning result and is completely sufficient with water. However, cleaning with osmosis water is recommended in order to dissolve the dirt even better and to achieve streak-free drying of the glass surface without any cleaning agents or squeegees.
What Does the Robot Need for Operation?
As a rule, a water connection is sufficient. The robot is simply placed on the surface and started via remote control. Electricity is also not necessary for operating the robot on the roof, as it is battery-operated. An electrical connection is only advantageous in the somewhat distant vicinity in order to be able to connect the osmosis system for a possible production of pure water and to be able to charge the replacement batteries.
How is the Robot Controlled?
The operation is semi-automatic via radio remote control by an operator similar to a crane control. An employee monitors the process and can intervene at any time. Accessories such as our hose reel ensure active hose management to avoid getting caught.
